Keeping up in Key Largo: Oh, the Places We’ll Go!
The Buttontapper Challenge is back! This month’s challenge is Seussily titled “Oh, the Places We’ll Go!” and will feature a new destination, daily, with inspiration from film and literature.
Today we’re traveling to Key Largo.
The northernmost of the Florida Keys, Key Largo is also the only destination on this month’s list that I chose solely for the movie named after it, starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and Edward G. Robinson.
If you’re at all into noir, you’ve likely seen this film. It’s set in the Florida Keys during a hurricane, although the greater threat to most of the characters is Johnny Rocco, a gangster who takes them all hostage.
