New cities open for submissions

submissionsIt’s July already? This summer is really flying by!

While we deliberate on your awesome summertime haiku, we just wanted you to know that we’ve opened up some new submission guidelines for three City Haiku anthologies planned for January 2014. The cities now open for submission are:

  • London
  • Paris
  • Timbuktu

Yep, that’s Timbuktu Haiku! We encourage rhyming and silliness here for imaginary sketches of this oft-referenced “middle of nowhere” city, as well as realistic depictions of the actual city in Mali that’s gotten such an unusual reputation.

For Paris, we are also looking for French translations of your English works, providing you are fluent. Since we’re an English-language publisher, we want English pieces first and foremost, but would love to do side-by-side translations if you’ve got ’em.

Got questions? Hit us up in the comments. Otherwise click here to submit!
