Pirates vs Ninjas: Character names

During my Kickstarter campaign to raise money for my participation in this year’s 3-Day Novel Contest, I offered $25 backers the perk of being able to name a character in my novel. This resulted in 3 donors offering the following names:

• Miss Ermintrude van der Shandy
• Gray Strachan
• [TK]

I’ve also fielded a request for some same-sex love scenes, so hopefully I can fulfill that request as well. I mean, a boat full of horny seamen with a hull full of grog? It’s kind of a no-brainer, really. Just watch out for Cap’n Hook…
