CITY HAIKU
We are now open for submissions to three different city-themed haiku collections: Montreal Haiku, New York Haiku, and San Diego Haiku. You may submit up to 5 poems for each collection. Haiku should convey a strong sense of place, and poems should not be interchangeable between these cities. (Example: Write about the subway in New York, or the metro in Montreal, but DON’T send us the same poem with “subway” changed to “metro”!) Poems that do not effectively portray the city in question will be rejected, posthaste, so no wishy-washy odes to The City In General, please.
TO SUBMIT: Send us your best work via Submittable. Please be sure to include a brief (100-word) bio in your cover letter.
