- Professional Writers of Austin — I contribute monthly pieces on the subject of professional writing and editing services to this local networking group; my first piece is entitled “How much does good writing cost?”
- WriteByNight — As a writing coach and manuscript consultant for this Austin-based writing salon, I write humorous blog posts on subjects ranging from how to befriend editors to why you should reconsider pressing “send” when emailing professional writers
PREVIOUS:
- AlterHéros – A non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the social and community integration of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth; I responded to questions from young people with gender and sexuality concerns
- Broken Pencil — As an indie culture commentator, I wrote articles for the BP website as well as the print magazine (A Little Bird Told Me: Twitter Fiction Takes Off and a review of Nairne Holtz’s This One’s Going to Last Forever are currently available online)
