Laura Roberts is the author of the sex column "V for Vixen," which can be found in the Hour, one of Montreal's alternative weeklies. She is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of one of Montreal's finest smut mags, Black Heart. Laura has written on a variety of subjects, both professional and personal, ranging from profiles of accountants at Career Insider Accounting and book reviews for Quill & Quire to articles on Las Vegas tipping etiquette for Associated Content and advice for men who love women who love women at AskMen.com.

Laura graduated With Distinction from Concordia University's Joint Honours Program in English Literature and Creative Writing in May of 2007, and replaced Josey Vogels as Hour's sex columnist in October of the same year. In 2008 she has been following up on her success as a new-wave sex reporter by branching out into other areas of journalism and creative writing.

Laura has a wide variety of interests and talents outside the bedroom, including lending her vocal talents as the co-host of the Geek Montreal podcast for GeekMontreal.com, and blogging about indie culture in Montreal for Broken Pencil. She is a professional member of the Quebec Writers' Federation and the English-Language Arts Network.
