Cats vs. Dogs: Haiku for pet lovers

Pet lovers, rejoice! Buttontapper Press is currently accepting submissions for our 2014 Cat Lovers Haiku and Dog Lovers Haiku anthologies.

As with all our haiku anthologies, we are seeking cheeky takes on the standard haiku format, with arresting imagery, linguistic play, and unique observations.

Cat submissions should have claws, while dog submissions must have both bark and bite.

In addition to great haiku, we would also love to see pictures of your furry friends included in this series! You may include one photo of your pet with each submission, to be featured alongside your poems.

Can’t choose between cats and dogs? No worries! You can submit up to 5 poems (and one photo) to each anthology.
